Scrap Page Sketchbooks with Kae Carlstedt-Duke
Workshop for creating a scrap paper sketchbook.
Bring along your paper offcuts, packaging, half-finished prints, wrapping paper, envelopes, magazine pages and those bits you’ve been ‘saving for something’. This workshop is that something.
In the workshop, you will cut, layer, glue, and experiment your way into a sketchbook full of texture, colour, and unexpected combinations. This isn’t about perfection; it’s about playing and unlocking creativity and learning a useful, sustainable technique for binding loose-leaf pages.
What tools and equipment do I need?
- Bring your own paper offcuts, packaging, half-finished prints, wrapping paper, envelopes, magazine pages and spare bits. Additional equipment and materials if desired can be purchased in the Quay Arts shop.
This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those with some bookbinding experience.
Suitable for all, 18yrs +
