Whether you're a complete beginner or have extensive experience, there are always opportunities to learn from the Quay Arts core team.

Volunteering process

When you're ready to volunteer with us, here's what you can expect:

  • Informal Induction: You'll start with a friendly induction that covers our key policies and procedures, ensuring you're prepared and informed.
  • Assigned Lead Contact: A core team member will be designated as your 'lead contact' to provide continuous support and guidance throughout your volunteering journey.
  • Ongoing Support: Your lead contact will be your primary point of communication, checking in with you regularly to discuss your progress, address any training needs, and resolve any issues.
  • Quarterly Meetings: Every few months, your lead contact will schedule a meeting to ensure everything is on track, discuss your experiences, and support your development as a volunteer.
