Me

Katie Stone is an illustrator, printmaker, and a part-time primary school teacher based on the Isle of Wight.  She graduated in illustration from Camberwell College of Arts, UAL but didn’t develop a love for printmaking until moving to the Island in 2014.

She is inspired by history, folklore, and superstition. Her love of illustration and animation from her childhood is a big influence on Katie’s work together with the ever-inspiring antics of her gorgeous dog Gilmour.

Katie works traditionally and digitally, creating posters and illustrations for clients, producing various marketing materials for various events as well as leading workshops and exhibiting and selling her own artwork.

Currently, Katie is enjoying developing her linocut illustrations in hopes of producing a variety of images for future storytelling projects. She works in her home studio based in Sandown.
