Back on Track

Back on Track celebrates the placemaking work at Sandown Station of three groups of young people – from the Youth Justice Service, Lionheart School and Bay Youth Project – who have been working with professional creatives Hollie Jackson and Emma Goss (Community Murals Isle of Wight), Jo Kori, Trudie Wilson and Jake Richardson (Community Action IOW). 

The initiative, which reflects on 200 years of Rail travel, aims to reduce anti-social behaviour and increase the sense of safety at the station. It is part of Artswork’s Young Cultural Changemaker Programme and is funded by South Western Railway CCIF, Arts Council England and Isle of Wight Community Rail Partnership CiC.
