The Quay Arts Collection

The Quay Collection – Virtual Exhibition

The Quay Collection brings together virtually, for the first time, the Quay’s varied permanent art collection. Often hidden, or unable to view publicly due to space, the Quay holds a significant array of artworks by painters, sculptures, printmakers and photographers, many of whom are highly recognised for their contribution to art in the UK.

We are ever grateful for the works donated by the artists over the years and purchased through our Open Exhibitions, and hope this exhibition gets a chance to celebrate them all. They are: Sue Paraskeva, Martin Swan, Joanne Hummel-Newell, Peter Wright, Eric Geddes, John Backland, Peter Davies and Hamish Marr.

The exhibition also displays works for sale from past fundraising auctions for Quay Arts. The artworks are available to purchase again and include works by Lisa Traxler, Colin Riches and Eric Geddes.

DONATE TO QUAY ARTS

Even a little money can make a big difference at Quay Arts

Did you realise that when you buy a cup of freshly ground barista coffee in our Café Bar, you are helping to support the cultural life of the Isle of Wight?

However, the generosity of our supporters goes beyond sales of food, drink and theatre tickets. Gifts of money, time, and even specific items make a huge difference to the amount of work we can do. Together, we can continue to enrich the lives of islanders and visitors with our fantastic programme of events.
