WHEN I PAINT MY MASTERPIECE
A journey into the genius of Bob Dylan with Hugh Wright & Friends

Following the sell-out concerts (‘Pressing on’ and ‘A Quest for meaning’) at the Ventnor Fringe in 2023 and 2024, Hugh Wright and Friends- including Dick Taylor from the ‘Pretty Things’, folk duo Keith Newnham and Rick Otley (Goose Island Syncopators and Spasm band) and many others- take a deeper dive into Dylan’s music for their first show at Quay Arts.

This 10 piece band will play songs from across his 60 year career, some famous, others ‘complete unknowns’ highlighting the sheer variety of Dylan’s music and poetry that have won him Grammys, an Oscar and the Nobel Prize for literature.

A treat for long-time fans and newbies alike.
