Taking part at Quay Arts
If you were going to design an arts centre from scratch, you would end up with Quay Arts. It has a wonderful programme of live events, two stunning galleries for the visual arts, two fully equipped venues for live events, a welcoming Café Bar serving some of the best food on the Isle of Wight, a Craft Shop where you’ll find the ideal gift for every occasion, and a full range of courses and workshops to inspire and delight. See the side menu for the many different ways you can take part in what’s going on.
Release your inner artist
Develop your artistic side or learn something new on one of the courses and workshops at Quay Arts and Jubilee Stores. You can explore pottery, music, printmaking, dance, sculpture, jewellery, life drawing, collage, and much more. All courses are reasonably priced and include expert tuition from passionate, professional artists. And come with the guarantee that you will feel happier, more fulfilled – possibly even transformed – at the end of them.
Of course it’s never too early to take part in art and Quay Arts offers regular family drop-in workshops, free to all family members to enjoy making art together. Quay Arts has signed up to the Family Arts Standards, so you can be sure that our activities are suitable and safe. There are other fun activities on Saturdays and in the holidays for children age 8 to 12 years and for teenagers who want to develop their artistic ambitions, there is also our Young Quay group.
Lots of groups use Quay Arts as a regular meeting point, for the delicious food and drink, the ambience, the location and the facilities. If you are a community group looking for the perfect venue for your formal or informal meeting, why not use Quay Arts’ welcoming Café Bar, or contact us for details of our room hire rates.
