2012 marks the 30th anniversary of Quay Arts' existence as the Island's leading arts venue and the 10th year of our highly-acclaimed creative Summer School; it is also the year in which we lose our core funding from Arts Council England. At this challenging point in our history, we want to be both reflective and forward-thinking, to continue to strive towards making connections and bridging the gap between artist, audience and gallery.
We invite our visitors to join us in a series of events and exhibitions in which we can reflect on and interpret the world around us, from our own unique standpoint.
Standpoint (definition: a physical or mental position from which things are viewed, considered or judged; a point of view).
Many of our projects this season in 'Standpoint' crossover, from Live Events, to Visual Arts, to Kids and Family events. We also have a range of workshops and events taking place that are independent from 'Standpoint'. Pick up a brochure at Quay Arts or browse through your website for details on all that is to come this season. We look forward to your visit! Don't forget to visit our Twitter and Facebook page and keep up with all the latest information happening at Quay Arts.
