An Overview of the Quay Arts Website
The Quay Arts homepage is your 'key' to the Quay as it were.
The three column layout provides you with a wealth of up to date information including a message from the Director, the latest Quay Arts news, any events, exhibitions or classes taking place, an example of the day's 'specials' from the Cafe/Bar and, most importantly, navigational aids to link you with any other part of the website.
The object of the 'Help' guide is to describe some of the attributes of the website that may not be instantly clear to you as a user, such as the purpose of the small icons situated on the coloured bar beneath the main menu options, and the meaning of such terms as 'Register', 'Login', 'Logout', etc.
Most regular internet users take certain things for granted. An underlined piece of text is usually a link to another section of the website, for example. The Quay Arts website follows these same conventions, both for the sake of familiarity, but also to offer alternative ways of finding the information you want. Theoretically you need never get lost!
