Atmospheric and thought provoking … Don’t miss the premier of Souvenir, specially written to coincide with the Quay Arts maritime themed art exhibition.
It will be performed in the round as a rehearsed reading, with live music. And this is its only scheduled performance on the Island. It’s based on true story of an Island shipwreck in 1916, when the captain stayed with his ship, even when the crew jumped into the sea to be rescued by a lifeboat. Running in parallel is the story of Alan and Helen’s marriage problems, with the shipwreck and rescue told in flashback.
Doors 7.30pm | Music from 7.45pm | Performance Start 8.00pm
