Singer, accordionist and clog dancer Hannah James has been a leading innovator in British folk music for nearly two decades. One memorable evening in the autumn of 2015 she brought her onewoman show JigDoll to Quay Arts. Her unforgettable performance used newly-composed music and cutting edge stage technique to weave a magical atmosphere around percussive dance.
Hannah’s vocal, accordion and dance skills are now enhanced by three instrumental experts – Hungarian percussionist Andras Dec, Scottish fiddle player Kate young and Estonian bassist Marti Tarn. Expect another spell-binding show.
In partnership with This Is Nowhere and Vaguely Sunny.
