This Halloween weekend The Extraordinary Travelling Film Show is taking up residency, or more accurately, ‘haunting’ The Quay Arts Centre in Newport. They will be showing a wide range of Halloween-themed films that will have you on the edge of your seat, under your seat or even falling off it with laughter! They will be transforming the Quay Art’s Minghella Theatre into the Wight Fright Cinema.
The Quay Arts building was once a bustling warehouse in the 1800s but remained dark, forlorn and empty for many years. Some say it’s haunted. Now, many of the staff won’t enter the theatre after dark … We think this is the perfect venue for – The Wight Fright Film Festival!
Friday 30th October – Sunday 1st November 2015
The Extraordinary Travelling Film Show is run by the Chief Magician, David Coultas, and the Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Karen Field. They take pride in screening great films in a range of Extraordinary locations.

Welcome to Hotel Transylvania, Dracula’s lavish five-stake resort, where monsters and their families can live it up and no humans are allowed. One special weekend, Dracula invites all his best friends – Frankenstein and his wife, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, the Werewolf family, and more – to celebrate his beloved daughter’s 118th birthday. The party really gets started when one ordinary guy stumbles into the hotel and changes everything! Featuring the voices of Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez and Ceelo Green, this is a must-see Halloween film for all the family.
