A Bold Re-imagining of Händel’s Masterpiece by Opera in Space

Semele is the story of a beautiful but vain young mistress who is deceived and destroyed by a jealous and powerful wife. In this adaptable show the performers take on multiple roles, play instruments and interact with the audience, which moves around the venue with them. Diverse storytelling techniques are used, including elements of clowning and physical theatre. Watch the drama unfold!
