Jhelisa Anderson is back in the UK this October performing her acclaimed tribute to Nina Simone and presenting a rare collaboration with the award winning Steinway Artist and Jazz composer/pianist, Robert Mitchell. Listening to Jhelisa’s deep, blues, soul, jazz, vocals blended with Robert’s phenomenal jazz piano is an unforgettable musical experience as they explore provocative new arrangements of the powerful and timeless classics of Nina Simone, one of the greatest ladies of Jazz, as well as new original compositions bringing both these musical cultures to life as you have never heard them before. Robert Mitchell is a piano orchestra unto himself and this is a rare opportunity to listen and watch these two leaders in Jazz come together as they create something truly exceptional.
