Sat, 28 Apr 2012 - Sat, 19 May 2012

Every year Northwood Primary School holds their Community Build, where pupils of different ages work with children in different classes for four days to create artefacts based upon a theme. Past themes have included Native America, Ships and India; this year the theme was London. For this exhibition, the children have produced models, paintings and hangings about what London in 2012 means to them.

Community Build was held on the last week of March 2012 and included every child in school (225 in total) as well as members of the local community. Parents, Grandparents, and even a local councillor came into school to support the children with their learning. Through working together, children and adults were able to create new and exciting works through this shared experience.
